Develop deep market insights qualitative and quantitative on the industry, on our business, and our customer segments which will become the foundation of H&D’s competitive differentiation and growth.
Market size and share evolution : Lead the annual AMR campaign for H&D and support other market / segment sizing activities.
Maintain a single source of reference for market share by country, segment, product family etc. Generate reports and commentaries on PAM, market shares, growth rates etc.

Market signals : Develop a solid understanding of our business, keeping in mind that the industry is evolving towards new energy, new business models and new technologies, and our routes to market are evolving accordingly.
Interpret strong and weak market signals, analyse trends, and identify growth drivers to ensure that Schneider can deliver long-term competitive advantage.
Work closely with segment teams to ensure consistency of what we monitor and how.
Business intelligence and synthesis : Leverage external (different licensed sources and desk research) and internal intelligence to build strategic insights.
Gather and analyse macro-economic trends that impact our business. Perform Strategic Intelligence studies or synthesis and provide inputs and recommendations to projects such as deep dives or M&A files.
Maintain a central repository of all market data and provide such information on regular or ad hoc basis to the teams as an essential complement to their business planning.
Communication : Effectively engage and enable multiple stakeholders with strong communication and collaboration. Stay in close sync with the counterparts in global teams and countries.
Deliver frequent updates on external market trends, macroeconomic factors, regulatory developments etc. Ensure timely publication of the weekly newsletter globally and by Hub.
Write and / or support position papers and white papers on market landscape evolution and macro / micro trends as observed in the business domain.
Contribute to the Division’s and Strategy team’s cadence of activities
As a key member of the Division’s strategy team, contribute actively to internal business review meetings, lead relevant parts of strategy workshops, and support effective decision-making during strategy review cycles.
Liaise regularly with the corporate strategy team. Maintain close ties with peers from other divisions as part of the global intelligence community.
Support other strategic projects / initiatives and ad hoc requests from executive management that are key to Division’s success.
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or equivalent relevant fields. Master’s degree eg. MBA a plus.
5-10years of work experience, a big part of which has been on strategic intelligence, market research, data analytics, or strategy consulting type of roles.
Prior work experience in companies around consumer products, energy, or software that are undergoing disruption both from technology and competitor standpoint, will be considered an advantage.
A self-motivated individual who is results driven and excels at project management. Curious, strategic, consultative, and tech savvy mindset.
Skill to quickly assess large quantum of data and extract insights from it.
Ability to present conclusions to top management. Demonstrate empathy and skill in influencing colleagues who may not be digital-native but have substantial subject matter expertise.
