Department Description

ISS Change drives process improvement and automation, and manages the change portfolio for the ISS business. The Change function provides the professional programme, project and PMO capabilities to manage strategic change initiatives.

Additionally, it provides portfolio management, enables prioritisation and governance, and is the initial interface point for change led through other functions.

Purpose of the Role

This role is responsible for supporting change management initiatives impacting the Global Fidelity business. Helping to build strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders throughout the region and globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management Support
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, analyse and document project requirements and structure work accordingly
  • Work across asset class and functions / operational teams throughout the region to support the change management process
  • Engagement with business representatives and Technology on systems implementation initiatives to facilitate scoping, prioritisation, benefits identification and tracking, and business readiness
  • Liaison with project managers and other departments across FIL to coordinate activities and resolve issues on cross divisional projects
  • The Project Manager will work closely with the Portfolio Manager. This will include supporting the programme on a cross workstream basis.

    Building relationships with key stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Capturing and clarifying business requirements through a range of analysis techniques
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships
  • Producing, checking and assessing project documentation
  • Troubleshooting problems, identifying root causes and proposing solutions
  • Communicating relevant and timely information to users, systems teams and management
  • Organising and participating in project testing
  • Experience and Qualifications Required

    The successful candidate will be expected to have strong project management skills with a proven record (7-10 years) of project participation and delivery ideally gained within an investment management business.

    In this context, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following :

  • A proven self-starter
  • Deadline, delivery and results focused
  • A detailed knowledge of the Investment Management and Fund Servicing business
  • A working knowledge of contemporary business analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, agree business processes and implement required changes
  • Proven ability to run and facilitate effective workshops
  • Methodical and highly organised approach with the ability to plan and prioritise work to tight deadlines
