Corporate & Investment Banking : Global Transaction Banking
The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) combines Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Finance, Global Markets and Global Transaction Banking businesses.
This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation.
Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide.
Trust & Agency Services ( TAS ) business division is an important pillar of Global Transaction Banking of Deutsche Bank.
Corporate Trust ( CT ) is a core business of TAS which generates annual recurring revenue and new revenue to TAS. Asia is a growth region in the TAS global business.
This role will have the primary focus on CT sales support to the CT Sales Team in APAC with salespersons based in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan and India covering the whole APAC region.
The CT Sales Team is responsible for originating new business from existing clients and new clients (who can be corporates, FIs and fund managers etc.
intermediaries (other investment banks and law firms etc.) as well as other Deutsche Bank divisions. CT has a very diverse sales / client coverage model and product range in APAC (from secured loans, public bonds to M&A escrows).
In addition to the CT exposure, the candidate is also expected to take on sales support responsibilities on Depositary Receipts ( DR ) products within TAS group in the APAC region if required and to connect with other parts of the bank.
This is a starting role as sales support to the regional sales team of TAS. As a career path, the candidate has an opportunity to move on to become a TAS salesperson in delivering sales revenue.
