Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement, review and refine esports funding schemes for supporting industry development
  • In charge of esports competitions and events programming all year round
  • Cultivate industry network by participating in or organising industry activities
  • Manage Cyberport esports / gaming startup cluster development
  • Engage esports industry practitioners and partners to join / collaborate with Cyberport
  • Design CUPP Esports programme framework and engage overseas education partner to tender
  • Devise esports promotion plan with Corporate Communication Team
  • Devise industry conferences with Corporate Marketing Team
  • Plan public engagement activities for key stakeholders, such as schools and youth, parents
  • Prepare regular business reports to EC / Excom / Board / ITB
  • Requirements :

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant working experience
  • Experience in working with youth affairs, academia, educator sector or governmental organisations
  • Experience in managing external agencies and vendors in event management, and also the production of marketing collaterals of various forms
  • Passionate and strong sense of commitment
  • Able to work creatively, effectively and independently under pressure
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; good Mandarin is an advantage
  • Proficiency in PC usage, e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, typing Chinese; good knowledge in social media platforms or digital marketing is an advantage
  • Good knowledge or keen interest in digital technology is an advantage
  • The position is on a renewable 2-year fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs).
