Manager/ Assistant Manager, FinBiz Development (Project Management role)

Purpose :

Our FinBiz Development Team focuses on the development of scalable FinBiz System Platform that unleash our B2B business opportunities.

Responsibilities :

  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical / IT team and ensure user requirements are effectively documented and followed.
  • Responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with OnePlatform strategy and business goals.
  • Create and review project proposals, and plans for own projects.
  • Manage assigned project scope / scope change requests, conduct cost and benefit analysis, and develop schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee assigned project from initiation through delivery and monitor for continuous improvements.
  • Ensure the assigned project meets its goals, timeline and budget.
  • Identify and develop contingency plans to mitigate and address risks of assigned projects.
  • Track large-scale projects against major milestone and adjust these assigned projects as needed.
  • Ensure internal resources and third parties / vendors are managed effectively.
  • Direct the project team members to create sufficient test cases and ensure UAT is conducted effectively.
  • Requirements :

  • Degree holder in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant disciplines.
  • 8 years’ working experience with 5 years’ cross-functional project management and business analysis experience in business transformation and business platform development.
  • Experience in managing changes with strong senior stakeholder management experience and people management skill.
  • Broad knowledge of financial industry’s products & functions.
  • Strong analytics, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Result oriented with passion about new technology and willing to embrace change, with adaptability and flexibility to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Solid experience in vendor management and able to manage projects with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Visio and project management software.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager role.
