The Strategic Procurement Department is focused on delivering effective business solutions through a strategic management approach of our costs, our supplier base and the continuous improvement of our administrative initiatives.
You will :
Liaise with business users to solicit their requests, needs and facilitate procurement activities such as scheduling, market research, pre-
qualification and request for quotation and tendering process
Support cross departmental tenders and procurement operations
Ensure procurement operations and related activities are in compliance with the Club’s policy
Monitor the market constantly and search out new goods, services and the latest technology most compatible with user requirements and Club standards
Prepare reporting and analysis to support decision making
Maintain and update the electronic based filing system
Provide administrative support to managers
You should have :
Degree in Procurement, Supplies Management, Surveying, Facilitates Management or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
Ability to keep abreast of trends, with knowledge of statutory requirements and procedures for import / export
Good communication in written and spoken English and Chinese with proven ability to work closely with respective stakeholders
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Self-motivated with good business acumen
Hands-on experience in MS Office applications especially Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Candidate with less experience will be considered for the role of Procurement Assistant.
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
