  • Assist with the development of Cost Management services and products
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of projects, commissions and professional assignments.
  • Deliver key elements of larger Cost Management assignments under the supervision of a Service Delivery Team Leader or above.
  • Be competent in the delivery of Cost Management Products relevant to their personal experience. Integral team member in the deliver key elements of larger assignments
  • Provide Cost Management services across a broad spectrum of the Cost Management product range based on personal experience and professional training.
  • Assume a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player.
  • Take the brief from the client and assist in the preparation of fee proposals.
  • Maintain effective communication ensuring all information is available for the successful completion of projects, to liaise with other managers to ensure efficient financial control resulting in projects being cost effective.
  • Manage a Cost Management assignment from inception through to completion with limited supervision.
  • Deliver all work outputs in an accurately and timely manner.
  • Provide support to the Team Leader / Service Leaders in cost management of projects.
  • Work collaboratively with other Senior Quantity Surveyors to manage related issues on the multi-disciplinary projects and liaise with stakeholders on requirements
  • Liaise with other managers to ensure consistency of service delivery and to identify opportunities for developing both the quality and profitability of the service
  • To be a team player and integral member of their business unit.
  • Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients forming a strong working relationship in true partnership.
  • Qualifications

  • Recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline which is eligible for RICS or equivalent working experience
  • 10 years minimum relevant work experience, preferably gained from a consultancy firm
  • Specific experience in fitting out for Corporate Real Estate or Retail projects
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in PC applications
