Team : Capital Markets Transverse Operations / SSI
Summary
Operations & Country COOs (OPC) in Hong Kong is made up of four main teams :
Financing & Trade Operations (FTO) including Documentary & Guarantee Operations, Credit & Loan Operations
Transaction Banking Operations (TBO) covering client account operations
Capital Markets Operations (CMO) including Middle Office, Back Office and Transverse Operations functions
Asia & Middle-East Operations Projects (AOP) covering CMO, FTO, TBO and Transversal projects
Within Capital Market Operations (CMO), there is a service in charge of Transverse Back Offices (Capital Market Transverse CMT) dedicated to :
Collateral Management and Client Servicing
Control and Coordination
Nostro reconciliation management
SSI (Standard Settlement Instruction) and static data management.
The CMT service is a worldwide platform serving Europe, US and Asian entities of CA-CIB.
SSI and static data management team is responsible for managing the creation and maintenance of SSI’s and static data related to CMO within our various tools.
Key Responsibilities
Distribute the SSI lists of CA-CIB entities under the responsibility of the team
Manage requests and incoming documentation received pertaining to SSI and static data
Create and / or update SSI’s and static data in the relevant systems
Assist in the day-to-day SSI and static data activities ensuring accuracy and completeness
Assist Manager to implement common projects / global initiatives
Assist in system enhancement and UAT testing
Liaise promptly and professionally with internal and external Clients to ensure high quality and timely services
Manage operational risk with a duty to alert Management.

Candidate criteria
Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Bachelor Degree
Recent University graduate
Level of minimal experience
Experience
Prior successful experience in Back-Office (payments, SSI, Static data, Nostro account management, etc.) will be a plus

Good judgment, alertness and common sense
Good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skill
Comfortable with multi-tasking and able to work under pressure
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Willing to work on holidays or overtime while overseas or international markets are open
Perfectly at ease in a multi-cultural environment
Technical skills required
Understanding of financial markets fundamentals
Knowledge of financial products
Solid computer skills, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Application
Languages
Fluent in English and additional language would be an advantage
