Job Description :
The incumbent will lead Asia-Pacific Real Estate Portfolio including internal / external teams over Lease negotiations, administration, market analysis, site selection, project fulfillment and Facilities Management.
Drives global site standards and real estate fulfillment operations practices.
Responsible for overseeing the facilities / real estate function in an independent corporation on a APAC basis. Responsibilities include overseeing activities and negotiations relating to lease vs.
buy, site selection, design, planning, construction of new facilities, and modification or expansion of existing facilities, including obtaining necessary licenses, permits, and clearances.
May oversee sublets / sales of company property. Also oversees building, plant and equipment maintenance and security and may oversee health and safety standards compliance.
Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related units
Develops departmental plans, including business, production and / or organizational priorities
Controls resources and policy formation in area of responsibility
Strategizes and deploys change management and transformation for centralization
Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives
Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems
Develops plans and delivers results in fast-changing businesses and / or regulatory environments
Provides input to functional or departmental strategy
Manages large, potentially diverse teams of managers and / or senior professionals in direct or matrix structure
Experience / Education / Requirements
Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 12 years and an advanced degree;
or equivalent experience.
Experience in APAC Real Estate, especially China, India, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, AUS NZ.
Bilingual English / Mandarin / Cantonese
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
