The Opportunity :

Mattel APAC regional marketing team is seeking a passionate Manager of Digital Marketing. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manageris responsible for leading the development of overall digital strategy on social media, YouTube and Influencers across the region.

The ideal candidate will also develop paid media strategy for all brands across APAC, and partner with key accounts and agenciesto further build the channel strategy for the region.

What Your Impact Will Be :

  • Support the Regional Head of Digital in developing the overall digital strategy for the region and map out customer journeys that help driving path to purchase across digital platformsfrom awareness through conversion
  • Create regional paid media, and lead the social media, YouTube and Influencer strategies for all Mattel brands in APAC
  • Streamline and optimize channel landscape, driving efficiencies and cost savings for the region
  • Work with media agency to lead any regional campaign executions
  • Ensure optimal media performance through KPI development and assessment, in partnership with Analytics Manager
  • Collaborate with brand marketing team to amplify global campaigns in APAC, create relevant recommendations and media allocations
  • Clearly articulate brand objectives and strategies; identify key product drivers and develop go-to-market strategies
  • Working closely with local and global teams to align and standardize workflows and operational processes across the region;
  • coaching and supporting local marketing teams in campaign management and optimization

  • Generate consumer insights, stay on top of industry trends and implement new innovative tools through research and competitive analysis and establish best practices
  • Develop and nurture regional agency partnerships
  • Present and share key learning with senior executives
  • What We're Looking For :

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in digital including paid media and social media, with 2+ years at managerial level, preferably with exposure in FMCG environment
  • Strong experience, with in-depth knowledge and understanding in social media marketing on key social platforms (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Weibo, WeChat, Google, Twitter, etc.)
  • Experience in advertising across social media platforms (e.g. Facebook Power Editor, Google AdWords)
  • Hands-on APAC regional exposure with an ability to take global direction and tailor it for the region and / or specific local markets
  • Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, managing resources and several projects simultaneously
  • Able to communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format effectively, build and maintain relationships
  • Team player, with confidence to take the lead and influence other departments and senior management
  • Experience delivering education or training seminars is a plus
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of other Asian language a plus
  • Able to travel
