POSITION SUMMARY :

The purpose of this position is to act as a HR business partner to deliver business expectations to attain HR credibility to Cartier in HK & Macau with key focus in Travel Retail.

ACTIVITIES : HR Strategy

HR Strategy

  • Implement Human Resources Strategy in line with business plan for Cartier. Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organisation
  • Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions
  • Explore opportunities to add value to business performance
  • Recruitment and Selection

  • Process all local recruitment requests in an effective and efficient manner and ensure job description for every employee position is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Maintain up-to-date recruitment progress report, talent database and all related staffing communication
  • Work with line manager on induction / orientation program to ensure new joiners can quickly adapt to the business and team
  • Closely monitor and share observation / feedback to line manager until new joiners pass probation smoothly
  • Compensation and Benefits

  • Co-ordinate with payroll team to ensure a smooth and efficient payroll operations (variable compensation, overtime, expatriates compensation, special payments)
  • Provide advice to management team on C&B issues
  • Gather all necessary data to benchmark salaries and benefits
  • Compile all data needed for the Annual Salary Review, and the Annual Performance Appraisal Analysis
  • Work on staff cost, monitor and alert management to any variance between the budgeted and actual salaries and headcount
  • Provide information to Expatriate staffs regarding C&B (Tax; Social Benefits)
  • Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Promote talent management concept among management population throughout the PMP cycle
  • Equip management population with a better understanding of learning agility approach and its implementation in assess the potential of staff
  • Facilitate career committee to manage talent deployment / development and mobility
  • Support management to develop and follow up of individual development plan
  • Support management to provide feedback to individual, where appropriate, with the brand Practices, regards with individual aspirations
  • Manage the succession planning process by administering accurate talent evaluation information through talent management desktop
  • Employee Relations

  • Foster a conducive working environment through employee relations activities and communication
  • Conduct exit and grievance interviews with all departments / staffs and share feedback and finding with Department Heads
  • Assist in handling all local labour tribunal cases
  • Detect and handle complaints, disputes and grievances of all staffs and to report them to the Regional / Local Human Resources Director
  • Coaching line managers in the event of counselling out employees who are under performance
  • Drive the performance appraisal system and processes to ensure executional excellence to manage employee development and linking it with organizational objectives
  • KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

  • At least 10 years HR experience with sizeable multi-national companies
  • Strong Human Resources principles & compliance holding
  • Good collaboration with business and key stakeholders
  • Mature, confident with can do attitude
  • Able to work autonomously and to collaborate effectively in a matrix working environment
  • Excellent in analytical, influencing & planning skills
  • Hands on, well organised and able to handle multi-tasks simultaneously
  • Prioritizing work to ensure the highest quality of service delivery against tight timelines
  • With internal communication experiences is a plus for this role
  • Conversant with labour regulations
  • Good spoken / written English is essential
  • University graduate
