To assist senior risk officers of Greater China & North Asia (GCNA) Counterparty Credit Risk Management Team in managing counterparty credit risk arising from OTC derivatives and funding transactions of different asset classes including Rates & FX, Credit, Equities and Commodity etc.
To help generating and analyzing portfolio data and reports for the Greater China Financial market portfolios
To conduct enterprise and regulatory stress testing for CCR
To approve and provide recommendation on structured Financial Markets transactions
Report into Head, CCR Greater China & North Asia to
Ensure that Traded risk policies and limit monitoring systems are implemented within GCNA
Ensure that traded risk measurement methodologies are fit-for-purpose, comprehensive and implemented with integrity.
Support enterprise and regulatory stress testing for CCR e.g. ICAAP, Recovery planning etc
Carry out monitoring activities to ensure that key control guidelines, risk parameters, credit policies and processes are being followed
Support the team to ensure appropriate and documented internal controls and procedures in place. Monitor the operation of such procedures and controls and regularly review them to ensure that they reflect any changes in products, systems, policy and regulations.
Maintain procedures for monitoring, management and reporting of operational risks arising within area of responsibility.
Work with modeling team on implementation of CCR risk methodology
Support new product launch via Country Addendums review
Support GCNA CCR projects and regulatory initiatives
Approve and provide recommendation on structured Financial Markets transactions
Our Ideal Candidate
6-7 years risk management experiences on financial markets
Qualifications in a numerate, quantitative discipline. (e.g. science, engineering, economics, finance)
Good understanding of financial markets products and able to provide in depth analysis.
Good business acumen and knowledge in Greater China and its regulatory framework
Good analytical skills and sound judgement in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to present complex risk issues to non-technical stakeholders
Team player with good communication skills and quick learner
Proactive in managing risk
Fluency in both conversational and written English
