Job Responsibilities :

  • Assist in preparation of annual / quarterly / interim reports of HKEX Group and subsidiaries;
  • Assist in supervision of accounting operations in Hong Kong
  • Provide guidance to newly acquired subsidiaries on implementation and interpretation of group financial policies
  • Provide head office support to CFO in the Mainland in managing the finance functions related to HKEX’s Mainland business entities in areas of group accounting policies, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management and expenditure control
  • Assist China Chief Administrative Officer in setting up a holding company in the Mainland and overseeing daily operations and business development across HKEX’s Mainland business entities
  • Act as subject matter expert for Finance Division on regulatory or statutory changes and policies that might affect HKEX’s Mainland business entities
  • Assist in providing business partnering services to business divisions; and
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks and projects
  • Job Requirements :

  • University degree;
  • At least 5 years of work experience in financial services, preferably securities-related, industries
  • Extensive experience in PRC operations
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Proactive, collaborative and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills good command of both written and spoken Chinese (including Putonghua) and English
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and experience in Oracle will be preferred
