Emerging Business Development at HKEX is responsible for developing, incubating and delivering new products, platforms and businesses to take advantage of exciting mega trends that are shaping our markets, such as ESG, Digital Assets and Data.
This role presents a unique opportunity for a highly commercial and analytical candidate to work within the Digital team, working hand in hand with internal and external partners across a spectrum of initiatives, including product and platform development, outreach to new clients, as well as collaboration with Digital Assets and technology partners.
Job Responsibilities :
Be an integral part of shaping and supporting Digital Assets products and services offered by HKEX
Lead or engage in project management activities (including strategy, planning, analysis on business requirements and testing) to ensure smooth implementation of initiatives and related business projects
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including other business teams, relevant regulators and market participants on Digital Assets products and initiatives
Maintain awareness of global Digital Asset and Blockchain Technology trends in order to provide insights and business implications for the broader team
Support / develop thought leadership content and strategy for the team.
Job Requirement :
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related disciplines
At least 3 years of experience in consulting, financial analysis, Digital Asset and blockchain analysis experience preferred
Excellent business acumen, numeric and logical thinker with strong problem solving skills
Good understanding of different Blockchain and Distributed Ledger networks
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in project management and conversant with technology preferred
Good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Cantonese and Putunghua is preferred
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Wind, Bloomberg and other analysis tools
