What you will do
Tooling design for high-speed high precision Semiconductors equipment, from conceptual until production release
Execute design activities to meet system / unit performance requirements
Work closely with engineers of other disciplines to realize solutions fulfilling customer requirement
Responsible for the development of new concepts for building blocks to improve or enhance existing equipment
Work closely with customer to compile performance requirement and verify if the objective is conceptually feasible
Conduct pre-studies (calculations, modeling, experiments, measurements) and system / unit level risk assessment to verify ideas and adjust the global design if necessary
Manage subcons for fabrication and / or design outsource
Document related processes, and manage design documentation
Conduct part failure analysis and define corrective actions for customer complaints / incidents
What you will need
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
Minimum 1 years proven skills / experience in high performance system design
Sound knowledge in CAD, PDM, MATLAB simulation, FEM modeling, system control and Mechatronics
Good interpersonal skills and able to deliver results through determination and team-work
Mature, with customer-oriented attitude and innovative
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Familiar with 6-sigma and 8D methods
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin will be an advantage
Able to work independently and under pressure
