Job Description :

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing & Partnerships, Asia, this role is responsible to be the leading subject matter expert for Sun Life Asia in driving content marketing, search and social media strategies.

As key stakeholder in advancing the discipline within our Digital Marketing organization, you will be a lead that evangelizes, supervises, promotes and educates on the latest within the subject matter that drives Sun Life brand health forward with our Asia BUs.

The role is inclusive of collaborating with our BUs in evolving content marketing and social media strategies to the next level that will successfully activate our Purpose of helping people achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.

You will need to have solid experience in strategic thinking, developing frameworks / handbooks / guidelines, driving innovations within social media and content marketing.

We are looking for a proven track record of initiatives that highlights your sound understanding of how content in all forms, all aspects of social media impact and influence our marketing efforts and ultimately our business.

Strong appreciation for data analytics and leveraging it is a core element in the success of this role.

The role needs to collaborate with country Marketing and Branding teams, executives and colleagues across multiple functions to understand business needs to support their marketing planning and activities and elevate content such that Sun Life becomes more prominent.

Major accountabilities

  • Advance the digital marketing Sun Life content marketing, social media, and search with a focus on driving excellence by delivering strategy, frameworks, guidelines and handbooks in the subject matter to our Asia business units.
  • Provide leadership, support and governance to review data analytics that drives insights and optimizations to improve the execution in all markets inclusive of themes, topics, images, headlines, standfirst, muti-media, etc.

    across all digital footprints (i.e. : websites, applications, portals, social media platforms). Introducing innovations and new opportunities that drives brand differentiation via the subject matter (i.

    e. : visual search, voice search, active imagery, clickbait, etc.). Serve as the go to leader in the subject matter for all ad hoc and planned requests from BUs across Asia.

  • Support the development in Sun Life Client-focused relationship marketing. Work with appropriate stakeholders to identify and assess the journeys, determine the right technology solutions.
  • Ultimately support in the development of marketing automation to deliver right message at the right time to strengthen emotional connect between Sun Life and the end-user (prospect, Client).

  • Create a robust web accessibility program ensuring Sun Life Asia websites adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Working with key stakeholders including BUs, ASCI AEM team and corporate. Assess and baseline our current state, develop and execute with scale.

  • Support Asia MarTech ecosystem by offering education / updates / innovations to meet the needs of the BUs. Drive adoption of enterprise MarTech to reduce MarTech fragmentation.
  • Encourage usage through ongoing Champion Series trainings. Support the MarTech license renewal, user access and user roles where possible.

  • Pivotal role within a key pillar of the Regional Digital Marketing objectives Advancing the discipline. Lead the development and delivery of workshops, internal conferences, hands on training programs across a wide spectrum of trends & innovations to how to’s and execution.
