Based in Singapore with operations across South-East Asia, India and China, they are a team of young like-minded people united by a single mission : to support and promote academic and sporting excellence among the Asian youth.

They are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and passionate professionals who want to work in the Education and Sports Industry, have the ability to build and maintain business relations, connect with people, communicate exceptionally well and pay attention to detail while at work.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, your purpose is to build sales by leading market outreach, team management and client engagement.

Your responsibilities include :

  • Contacting and building relationships with new and existing clients, conducting market research to explore new business opportunities.
  • Analyzing business competition, partnering with marketing and client delivery team to create and implement business strategies to increase brand awareness and sales.
  • Managing relationships between counselors and clients, extensive discussions and ideations with the management team on product development and positioning of our services.
  • Providing strategic direction for the business across Indonesia and researching business opportunities and viable income streams.
  • Managing the Top Line as well as the Bottom Line of the business while managing and retaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions and identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
  • Ideal Profile

  • You have at least 10-15 years' experience in Business Development with at least 7-8 years' experience in the Education or Sports industry.
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree from a renowned university in Hong Kong or internationally.
  • You have had previous consulting experiences as a management consultant or in the education industry.
  • You have a proven track record of Sales and Business Development, building business cases and can build a market and manage P&L for 3 countries eventually.
  • You are passionate about university education and guiding young people to attain that success.
  • You are extremely result-oriented and possess and innate problem-solving attitude.
  • You have strong communication, writing, interviewing and research skills.
  • You have a track record of designing and implementation of business development strategy
  • You are a strong team player and also possess solid leadership skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Adobe Acrobat.
  • You can juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high quality work and projecting a positive attitude.
