We are looking for an R&D Analyst to join our growing Spark team. Spark is Coherent’s flagship product that takes complex logic and converts it to API services in seconds! Reporting directly to the Head of R&D, you will work with a team of likeminded peers and some of the brightest professionals in the industry! If you have strong analytical skills, a curious mindset, and a strong desire to create a career on a wide range of actuarial areas technologies, come talk to us.
What you will be doing
Be a key part of the Spark team focusing on technical inputs on developing and delivering InsurTech solutions.
Support senior team members in product development and data modelling
Support product team members in the maintenance of the core platform.
Effectively communicate status and results of your deliverables to your immediate manager and other senior members of Coherent.
Who you are
University graduate, major in Actuarial Science, Physics, Mathematics, and / or related discipline
Experienced in building excel models
Demonstrated ability meet tough deadlines and clearly set own priorities
Able to work in an evolving and dynamic environment and resilient to pressure
Prior experience in the insurance pr banking industry is preferred
Strong command of spoken and written English
Ability to clearly communicate ideas, concepts and results to various stakeholders
Programming skills a very big plus
