We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our Asia team to be based in our Hong Kong offices.
A role you will love
The Sales Manager position will report to the Assistant Vice President. This role will work on business development to achieve line revenue targets in Asia region and for cross-selling of products and services to our new and existing clients in Asia region.
You will be responsible for developing an effective sales plan for Asia region ensuring sales targets are achieved.
You will be managing a portfolio of clients by interacting with clients and building solid relationships with them whist ensuring client’s needs are being met.
You will maintain different level relationships with key and strategic clients by having regular face-to-face meetings and calls for up-selling opportunities.
In addition, preparation and negotiation of proposals and agreements for prospective projects will be required. You will need to be on top of your projects during the Shareholder ID and proxy campaigns.
You will play a pivotal role in working out an effective communication structure with the Corporate Advisory team, Ownership Intelligent team, Marketing team, Finance team, RM and other regions to formulate a robust business development strategy.
Among other things, you will liaise with other Business Units to determine the most effective way in developing business in the Asian region and in promoting company brand.
You will also spearhead identifying and analyzing business and market information including but not limited to competitor information.
It will be essential for you to communicate and build relationships with internal managers and other team heads to discuss market competitiveness and providing insights on perceptions of existing products, potential needs and challenges.
You will have the opportunity to work with the Corporate Advisory team to develop new products and services to meet with clients’ needs.
There will also be opportunities to participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as they arise. The role will require some travelling across the APAC region.

You bring great skill-sets in negotiation, you are passionate in learning more about various markets across Asia and its intricacies.
You will have an excellent track record of generating revenue and driving business with at least 4 years of sales experience in the financial services / business consultation industry.
Your knowledge and exposure to H-Share and Red Chip companies will be valuable. Whilst having experience in Investor Relations (IR) and Corporate Governance is an advantage.
You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor’s degree in business management, Corporate Governance, Finance or other related discipline.
Knowledge in financial reporting is an added bonus but not a must. You have fluency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
