Perform a Business Manager role for the new strategic program related to the potential development of a portfolio of land assets in Happy Valley region hold by the Club.
This includes strategy development, business case management, project program management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and organization build-up for post completion operation
Lead the overall project management and PMO responsibilities of the strategic program. Key PMO responsibilities will include : a).
develop an integrated program and schedule across all workstreams, b). develop key milestones and manage inter-dependencies across workstreams, c).
plan and manage a range of committee meetings to track key milestone progress, review key issues and secure timely senior management approvals
Collaborate with finance, property and other divisions to develop an integrated financial model including all key revenue, cost drivers for the property development projects.
Conduct comprehensive scenario analyses and make recommendations to the business whenever needed on a timely manner
Collaborate with Corporate Affairs, Property and other related divisions, in managing key government approvals and public stakeholder engagements for the subject property development project
Collaborate with Membership division in managing key communication with the Club’s member for issues related to the strategic program
Collaborate with the risk management team, in proactively identifying and mitigating key potential risks related to the strategic program
Collaborate with other divisions in driving and orchestrating sustainability initiatives for the integrated business model of the Club in Hong Kong and China
Orchestrating agenda and content submission for SP related committee meetings (BMMs, BSMs) and related BOMs and BOSs
Work with other team members from CSBPO and other divisions in other corporate and business planning initiatives related to the Club’s integrated business model initiatives
Play a proactive role in the formulation of key internal papers or powerpoint for Strategic Projects-related Steering Committee, BOM, and BOS
You should have
A Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Property or Real Estate Development, Quantities Survey or related disciplines
A Master’s degree in business, urban planning or real estate development will be preferred but not a pre-requisite
A minimum of 15 years of experience in a managerial role within a sizable organisation in China and / or HK (major Hong Kong conglomerate group with broad range of property projects preferred), with a particular focus on property project management and planning within a multi-divisional, complex organisation
Knowledge and experiences in managing key government approval requirements (such as Building Dept., Town Planning Board) for property project development in Hong Kong, and potentially China
Experience in developing financial model and business case, to articulate the business purpose of property development projects
Experiences in managing broader range of property assets such as retail shop or office leasing, residential building management, facilities management an advantage
Resourcefulness and interest to contribute on corporate planning and management roles in the context of the Club’s integrated business model
Proven track record in handling large scale PMO and project management for cross-divisional projects with complex set of internal and external stakeholders
Strong writing skills in English for powerpoint and word documents
Familiarity with property projects in Hong Kong a must; additional working and living experiences in Mainland China an advantage
