A globally renowned Life Insurer is looking for an Associate Director level candidate to lead their Financial Reporting team with 10+ staff
Duties
Lead a team of 10+ professionals on financial reporting for life insurance and non-insurance entities in Hong Kong and Macau
In charge for the month end closing and coordinate with finance, actuarial and other teams for inputs
Review the financial reports on timely and accurate manner and in accordance with local regulatory and Group requirements
In charge of the audits and tax filing, review the supporting documents and audited financial statements to auditors.
Review the quarterly and annual statutory filings to regulators
Assist in the new system change project and fast close project
Lead the team to work through changes due to on-going development of accounting standard and regulations
Requirements
Degree holder in Accounting
Professional qualification of recognized accounting bodies
10+ years of experience in financial accounting field
Working experience in Life Insurance Industry or audit is preferable
Proficient in excel, access, Oracle and Hyperion is preferred
