As the Regional Marketing Manager for assigned region / business, you will be responsible for defining, developing and implementing awareness and demand generation marketing programs and campaigns that are aligned to CommScope business and sales objectives for the region.
This entails overseeing a team of in-country field marketing experts to execute global, regional, and local programs and campaigns, providing strategy recommendations that are aligned to the local business requirements, as well as working with the regional cross-
functional team on country-specific programs and campaigns.
Takes the lead in the design, development and execution of integrated marketing programs and campaigns to build brand awareness, increase customer and prospect engagement, generate new business, and cross or up-sell pipeline
Collaborate with the regional campaign managers and cross-functional teams on global programs and campaigns, ensuring relevant messaging and positioning are aligned to regional business and sales objectives
Manage usage of budgets and its ROI
Collaborate with regional channel marketing team to drive regional channel marketing programs through the local distribution, partners and key alliances, complementing the global / regional programs already in place
Development and / or localization of sales enablement tools including presentations, collateral, local language websites, regional success stories etc
Communicate relevant marketing initiatives, events, product announcements, sales enablement tools and resources, etc. to the Sales team
Responsible for lead and database management in-line with the specified best practices and processes
Drive and manage campaign analysis and reporting to understand the ROI of these programs and campaigns against annual regional targets and goals for optimization and continuous improvement in all marketing efforts
Collaborate with Corporate Comms & PR to jointly develop & implement agreed PR initiatives
Collaborate with Portfolio Marketing to jointly develop and support product launches in the region
Work closely with the Corporate Brand team to advocate and implement global brand strategy and guidelines
Responsibility for advancing best practices with the sales team : including lead dispositioning, lead tracking, contact management, sales insights, social marketing and selling etc.
Orchestrates internal and external resources necessary to launch marketing programs
Participate in regional marketing planning and review calls and meetings
Ensure consistent marketing process and tool adoption across the regional field marketing team
Preferably with Bachelor’s degree required in Business or Marketing.
10+ years marketing experience, preferably business-to-business (B2B) with 5+ years’ experience in technology / IT / Telecom
Demonstrated marketing experience launching programs to acquire new customers, broaden engagement with contacts in target accounts, and accelerate sales pipeline
Experience w / project management, negotiation & strong decision-making skills
Ability to interact and build relationships with senior sales leadership, cross functional teams and peers
Positive attitude, reliable and organized
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Good in English and local language(s) of the assigned region verbal and written communication skills in both
Ability to operate in a regional, field, and globally matrixed environment
Demonstrate leadership skills, creativity, and initiative
Experience with some marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and campaign and reporting on Salesforce.com / Microsoft Dynamics
Occasional traveling is required
