Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in computational science, bioinformatics, biostatistics and / or epidemiology; (ii) some experience in analysis of genomic, metabolomic and / or RNA sequencing data.
Experience in computational modelling for disease prediction and complex survival analysis is desirable. Previous postdoctoral experience is not required.
The fellow will work closely with the principal investigator to establish and develop a cardiovascular disease-based registry and bioresource including a biobank focused on advanced heart failure, and develop multi-
dimensional analysis methodologies. He / she will have the opportunity to work with collaborators in Australia, Spain and the United Kingdom.
He / She will also assist in analyzing events and survival data from a clinical study involving non-warfarin oral anticoagulants, and participate in an eHealth smartphone-
enabled project on heart failure in collaboration with the CUHK Institute of Ageing.

The successful candidate is expected to begin work in October 2017. Appointment will be made on contract basis for two years initially, renewable for an additional one to three years subject to mutual agreement.
