The Career Center is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and reliable individual to support the establishment of a Career Center in Guangzhou (GZ) campus.
The mission of the Career Center is to engage, empower and support students in exploring and pursuing their career aspirations, developing career plans and competitive job search skills, as well as making informed career choices.
We provide career support services, resources, information, guidance and training programs to students and conduct university-wide employment surveys.
We also actively engage employers and connect them with our student talent pool.
Reporting to the Head of Career Center, the appointee will be required to station and work in the Mainland, with frequent business travels to Clear Water Bay Campus as required.
The appointee may be required to attend activities scheduled outside regular office hours. For true integration and coherence of both campuses, the appointee is expected to be stationed in the Clear Water Bay campus for on-the-job training in the initial appointment period (roughly one to two years).
This is a Mainland appointment and the appointees will be offered a contract by the HKUST Mainland entity in accordance with the local labor laws and regulations.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
