The Business Development Executive is critical in supporting the group to develop its reach and drive revenue. The post holder will be focused on identifying rising business opportunities and, in collaboration with the team & Directors, building long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.

The role is predominantly focused on Benoy but will be required to support other businesses in the group when necessary.

Overview

  • Understand the APAC real estate market and the architecture realm
  • Capable to keep the good relationship with the existing clients and explore the new clients
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to fulfil the APAC business development goal
  • Capable to work independently when facing the client and work as a team player internally
  • Responsibilities

  • Cold call to identify potential clients and decision makers, and leverage your network to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Research and build relationships with new clients as part of Business Development initiatives
  • Work with Business Development Manager, APAC to analyse the market in each region to address the Business Development strategy and goal in different regions
  • Arrange regular BD meetings with Key clients and present the company portfolio to the client
  • Follow up the RFPs, coordinate between the client with the internal stakeholders to eventually sign the contract
  • Development the proposals that address the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Report to Business Development Manager, APAC on any issues from bids, to advise on any potential changes to be reviewed
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and ensure data is accurately managed in the company’s CRM database
  • Work with the marketing team and design team to ensure that pre-requisites i.e. prequalification, RFPs, are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner
  • Attend the Events / Summits / Forum arranged by marketing team to expand the network with potential clients
  • Work with Marketing team to ensure messaging, campaigns and collateral are relevant and distributed to clients across the region using the most appropriate channels
  • Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of the built environment, architecture and / or design desirable.
  • Better understanding on the Southeast Asia market is preferred

  • An engaging and persuasive communication style, credibility and gravitas, able to influence and challenge at senior levels.
  • The ability to work effectively in a complex organisation, interfacing successfully with a wide range of teams, willing to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of being pro-active and delivering high quality work both personally and through a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Good project management skills; experience of managing multiple projects.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including thorough knowledge of InDesign, MS Office and CRM systems.
