HOTEL PROGRAM MANAGER
Job Description & Responsibilities
Partners with client leadership, SME’s and travel team to design strategy and identify / define opportunities to enhance the companies’ Hotel travel program
Understands and identifies key success factors of within hotel industry and integrates them with respect to client's global strategy.
Understands key performance indicators for a client's industry and chosen market position. Identify, Collect & Analyzes how these indicators translate to key processes within the client.
Provide insights of potential impact of current hotel industry trends into client’s hotel program
Integrates benchmarking / best practices
Develop an optimized hotel program strategies
Hotel Sourcing Project Lead : Supports UBS in execution of the annual hotel sourcing projects.Sets up the configuration of the RFP and distributes the RFP requests using the sourcing toolManages multiple rounds of submissions from hotels and chain partners during the RFPSupports UBS in interim negotiation meetings with hotels and chainsActively screens hotels’ sales pitches and suggests new hotels that have the potential to be a part of UBS preferred hotel program
Supplier ManagementParticipation in key chain performance review meetings
Requirements and Qualifications
A high level of understanding of the corporate travel market from a hotel supplier perspective would be a particular advantage, most important is an extensive knowledge of the business travel industry in general
Proven experience of supplier procurement and management is essential for this role
Excellent industry product knowledge
Excellent understanding of customer requirements and expectations
An understanding of overall business travel management strategies, including supplier programs and policy management
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in leading and directing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong project management and business process re-engineering skills
Bachelor degree or equivalent
