Sales Support Officer

Purpose of this role :

You will responsible for Retention activities in Sales Support Team in order to ensure an exceptional customer experience for our customers and achieve targets of renewal business.

Accountabilities and activities :

A. Follow the renewal process thoroughly and retain existing individual members professionally :

  • Call customers to follow up on renewal according to pre-defined time schedule
  • Highlight the premium increment as well as changes of plan coverage and subscription amount upon renewal
  • Render professional advice to fulfil the needs of customers
  • Develop individual business opportunities through upselling upgrade existing plan level and / or add optional benefits
  • Review renewal reports, and closely monitor the renewal status and persistency
  • Keep up to date with market information
  • B. Provide exceptional sales support services and address queries from the partner’s sales force effectively :

  • Receive and handle inbound telephone calls from sales representatives inquiring about products, services, sales operations and assist with all customer satisfaction related inquires in a timely manner
  • Provide any necessary sales reports and analyses
  • Suggest sales process improvements
  • Perform user acceptance tests to ensure that a program or system works according to the specifications in operations perspectives
  • To be successful in the position, you should ideally have :

  • At least 2 years of proven customer support experience (insurance field would be an advantage)
  • Diploma or equivalent in any discipline; college degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (spoken and written) and Putonghua
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Hands on MS Office knowledge
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt / respond to different types of characters
  • Familiar with CRM systems and practices
  • Enthusiastic and positive with excellent multitasking skills
  • Self-motivated and attention to details, able to adapt to changes and work under pressure
  • General Insurance with IIQE (Paper I & II) qualification preferred.
