Sr. HRD (or Vice President), Commercial AP Job Summary The Sr. HRD (or Vice President) will be a key member of the Commercial Sector, AMI&I Business Unit, and Global HR leadership teams and will be responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resources strategies which support and align to the enterprise HR and business strategy.

As a member of the Global HR leadership team, the incumbent will work directly with peers to develop innovative human resources solutions for the overall business.

The human resources strategy will align strategically with the overall corporate values and strategy and focus on transformation initiatives in organizational and development, organization planning, leadership development, succession planning, and employee relations.

The position will report to the Senior Vice President, Human Resources as well as the EVP, Commercial Sector. He / She will directly support the Commercial Sector within Asia-Pacific.

This includes business partnering with the Commercial Sector President & staff, AMII Business Unit, Sales, Marketing, Master Planning & Quoting, Technology, Finance and IT teams within the region. Job Responsibilities

  • In concert with Commercial Sector leaders, develop and refine the organization structure and optimize resources against the long term strategic plan.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction in terms of change management, organizational design / structure, management assessment, succession planning, and recruiting and retention programs across the business.
  • Deliver and support organizational leadership principles through coaching, assessments (with L&D), and organizational development exercises.
  • Partner with Commercial Sector leadership team in support of the annual compensation planning, talent review and performance review processes.
  • Keep abreast of the labor market development including C&B and resource availability, and recommend effective means / programs to acquire, motivate and retain critical resources.
  • Strengthen and standardize company HR policies, processes and activities to ensure compliance with legislative regulations, market best practices and TTM requirements.
  • Develop & evaluate reliable recruitment channels and methodologies including campus recruitment to improve the recruitment quality, cost and speed.
  • Support organization development to develop company cultures and promote TTM values
  • Eagerly take on additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
  • Job Requirements

  • An experienced all-rounded HR management professional with solid global MNC background , industrial manufacturing experience will be highly preferred
  • Solid track record of working in HR BP senior executive roles
  • Regional corporate HR management experience is a must, familiar with Asia Pacific region, especially HK and mainland China ;
  • overseas education or working experience will be a plus

  • Experience of change management, organizational design / re-org, talent management (assessment, succession, recruiting and retention etc.
  • C&B management (structure, planning, design, review etc.), M&A will be highly preferred

  • Familiar with matrix organization , can work comfortably and efficiently in a cross-cultural, cross-business unit, cross-region and cross-function working environment, able to lead and drive to get through complexity and ambiguity when needed
  • Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills, demonstrable convincing, persuasion and influencing capabilities.
  • Able to address small groups as well as big groups, able to give public speeches on behalf of the company when needed

  • Style and personality : strategic and hands-on, can see the big picture and is able to implement and deliver on that; Mature, confident, independent, assertive, self-motivated & self-driving;
