In the CDS WW Sales team, we drive growth for Microsoft and our partners through strategic expertise, customer obsession and execution excellence in marketing and selling our winning portfolio of devices and solutions.

The Channel Executive Retail Distributor drives local sales through Retail Distribution Partners.

Responsibilities

Relationship Management (30%)

  • Leverage industry knowledge, channel insight & customer understanding to drive strategic alignment and land joint business objectives with retail distribution partners
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of retail distributor partner capabilities and operations
  • Drive growth-oriented plans to maximize reach, frequency, and yield
  • Orchestrate annual and seasonal planning process with partner, ensuring alignment with Category and Marketing stakeholders
  • Channel Management (30%)

  • Support retail distribution partner in developing winning strategies for selling through a portfolio of distributor-managed retailers.
  • Ensure retailer prioritization in alignment with Microsoft strategies.

  • Leverage Microsoft CDS stakeholders and assets to educate and enable retail distributor team for success.
  • Identify, test, and grow new sales channels for consumer products through retail distribution.
  • Establish deeper engagement with key partner executives and stakeholders
  • PC Accessory (PCA) Category Sales Management (20%)

  • Plan & excute category sales plans that maximize both market & retailer specific selling beats
  • Partner with local marketing teams to plan & execute local, MSFT led full-funnel demand gen campaigns via Digital, Social, O&O & SEM.
  • Define and manage Offers strategy aligned to market, channel partners, key beats
  • Business Operational Excellence (20%)

  • Execute partner growth plans to agreed metrics and targets, and orchestrate internal Rhythm of the Business
  • Drive improvement in partner satisfaction (CPE) through timely issue resolution and partner support
  • Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience of account management in selling consumer IT products at retail and / or distributor level.
  • Though not a must, experience in IT mall channel managment will be an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong numeracy and problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal awareness
  • Demonstrate growth mindset and don’t give up on things easily.
