The marketing manager will be a generalist marketer and must hold experience of utilising the full marketing mix to include web, email, sales, direct marketing, social media, video and events (in house / virtual).

The marketing manager will be working in a matrix environment, working across a number of functions to include sales, customer success, product, technology and editorial.

Essential Duties

  • Manage and optimise paid search, aggregators and display remarketing APAC campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success team and optimise individual client’s performance to ensure trial conversion / contract renewal.
  • Ability to evaluate digital marketing campaigns to asses performance and drive optimised results.
  • Tracking and communicating market positioning versus competitors.
  • Translating internal revenue goals and customer needs into marketing plans.
  • Able to assess market sector conditions to drive recommendations for growth opportunities for eFinancialCareers to grow both its professional and client’s database.
  • Target and build a compelling partnership proposition to amplify the eFinancialCareers brand within certain associations and universities.
  • Own performance marketing, digital marketing, events metrics and present metrics to internal stakeholders including the leadership team.
  • Evaluate and support b2b integrated demand generation program.
  • Own the full events programme virtual career events, roundtables and webinars.
  • Work with Sales, CS and Marketing Virtual Career event teams to deliver successful APAC events.
  • Create and manage plan to ensure successful sponsors and candidate acquisition for each event.
  • Lead all project management activities, working cross-functionally with teams across the organisation to ensure key workstreams are captured and executed.
  • Social media across all channels with a regional focus.
  • Own a fixed annual marketing budget and manage RIO of spend.
  • Requirements

  • 5 or more years of proven B2B and B2C work experience within a high preforming growth business
  • Events marketing experience physical and virtual
  • Good understanding of the financial services market
  • Good copywriting skills
  • Experience of the full multimedia marketing mix
  • Ability to work across divisions and represent marketing within the APAC region
  • Outstanding project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on-time results
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Organised, data-driven and outcome-oriented approach to all work
  • Customer centric mindset
  • Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to work across marketing teams on an international scale.
  • Commercial mindset with a proven track record of delivering marketing initiatives that have a positive impact for the success of the business
  • Good working knowledge of the Chinese market
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers design, job aggregators, research, events
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
  • Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin
