The Department

The Customer and International Business Development Division (C&I) is responsible for providing quality wagering experience and CRM to local and overseas customers of The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

It operates 88 Race Meetings a year, 33 Simulcasts days, a thrice-weekly Mark 6 Draw, 7X24 Digital Channels, 7X24 Football Betting Services on over 11,000 different leagues per year.

The ultimate aim is to provide an impressive total customer experience leading to sustainable turnover growth in a responsible manner.

You will :

  • act as the day-to-day PMO manager for the smooth functioning a cross-functional team
  • develop and maintain overall project timeline, issue log, minutes; report to top management about the trends and circumstances in China
  • liaise and coordinate with different team members to work together collaboratively; help in overall problem solving sessions especially around customer experience workstreams
  • track progress and verify if all functional teams are working according to timeline and resource plan; identify and raise any issues from operational level that warrants higher management attention;
  • highlight and address workstreams and inter-project dependency

  • help maintain working level relationship with working level counters of government stakeholders to sustain our joint working team model;
  • support in playing the PMO manager role in the joint working team with Guangzhou / Conghua

    You should have :

  • a degree in Business or related discipline
  • minimum of 12 years’ project management experience with proven record of China related strategic project experience
  • to be seasoned and mature with strong personal and communication impact to manage complex projects
  • experience in dealing with different stakeholders in China including government and / or real estate
  • ability to manoeuvre and negotiate deals; demonstrate ability to influence and sell
  • strategic business planning capabilities, preferably with exposure in risk management and compliance
  • solid experience in business planning, budgeting and business analysis
  • excellent Putonghua competency; bilingual translation and interpretation skill an advantage

    The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.
