Based in Hong Kong, this individual will support the media relations function and work collaboratively with the broader regional Internal Communications, Marketing and Community Affairs teams in Asia Pacific.Key Responsibilities

  • Support and execute the Firm’s media strategy in Asia Pacific
  • Develop and manage media relationships and perform the role of media point of contact
  • A focus of the role will be to work with Research to leverage the Firm’s top-ranked* thought-leading global content with media
  • Prepare press releases and arrange media interviews and events
  • Manage press coverage monitoring process, track media interactions and prepare reporting
  • Develop social media content
  • Work closely with the Firm’s regional public relations agencies
  • Manage and build effective working relationships with internal clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Qualifications

  • University graduate with at least 5-7 years of work experience in communications, financial public relations, journalism or investor relations or other relevant disciplines
  • Relevant work experience in the financial services sector preferred
  • Individuals with investment banking, private banking, asset management, research or sales and trading backgrounds who are considering a move into a communications role will also be considered
  • Natural communicator with exceptional English-language verbal and written skills. Fluency in both Cantonese and Mandarin will be an advantage.
