Based in Hong Kong, this individual will support the media relations function and work collaboratively with the broader regional Internal Communications, Marketing and Community Affairs teams in Asia Pacific.Key Responsibilities
Support and execute the Firm’s media strategy in Asia Pacific
Develop and manage media relationships and perform the role of media point of contact
A focus of the role will be to work with Research to leverage the Firm’s top-ranked* thought-leading global content with media
Prepare press releases and arrange media interviews and events
Manage press coverage monitoring process, track media interactions and prepare reporting
Develop social media content
Work closely with the Firm’s regional public relations agencies
Manage and build effective working relationships with internal clients and colleagues at all levels
University graduate with at least 5-7 years of work experience in communications, financial public relations, journalism or investor relations or other relevant disciplines
Relevant work experience in the financial services sector preferred
Individuals with investment banking, private banking, asset management, research or sales and trading backgrounds who are considering a move into a communications role will also be considered
Natural communicator with exceptional English-language verbal and written skills. Fluency in both Cantonese and Mandarin will be an advantage.
