The Public Affairs Department provides a full range of proactive communications functions to the Club including the formulation of communication strategy, issue management, racing and non-
racing media relations; racing, betting, charity information and overall publicity; as well as organisation of corporate PR programmes and projects.
You will :
organise the business schedule and provide administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Public Affairs (Corporate & Charities Communications)
prepare presentation, meeting materials, minutes and reports for meetings
assist in organising events and prepare background information for Club’s representatives to attend necessary functions
provide general administrative support and perform ad hoc duties for the team, as required
co-ordinate and liaise with internal departments and external parties for different projects
maintain and update the filing system and records and compile statistical reports
You should :
have tertiary education with a minimum of 10 years’ solid experience in secretarial / administrative duties
have excellent communication skills (in both English and Chinese)
be a great team player with have good interpersonal skills and a positive, excellent and professional work attitude
be independent, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess a high standard of integrity
have hands-on experience in Microsoft Office applications and proficiency with PowerPoint
be able to work under tight deadline and pressure
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.
Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
