Systems administrators provide support, automation, and management for a wide variety of enterprise technology, including a sophisticated Windows and Linux desktop / server environment, cutting-edge storage and clustered computing solutions, and a number of communications platforms.

What you’ll do day-to-day

You’ll collaborate with staff across a variety of business units to understand their needs and provide innovative technology solutions and be responsible for a variety of support and project work across a wide range of technology, including but not limited to Windows PCs and servers, Linux servers, mobile devices, and an advanced communications infrastructure.

Support and project work may include troubleshooting complex technical issues, administration of various infrastructure-level systems, implementing automation and efficiency improvements, providing in-person support of PC hardware, peripheral and software deployments, mobile device management, trading floor support, and occasional data center work.

Who we’re looking for

  • Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in both building technology and helping others use it effectively, as well as proven research and analytical skills to resolve unfamiliar problems, improve processes, and advance challenging work.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows enterprise environment and standard applications, such as Microsoft Office 365, is required, as is familiarity with general systems administration, including hardware and software administration and phone, desk-side, trade floor, and / or remote user support.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are critical, as the role involves working with global colleagues across a diverse set of backgrounds, experiences, and projects.
  • Hands-on experience in technology is desired; previous data center exposure is a plus.
  • This position will support our Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai offices, so a working proficiency in Mandarin and a willingness to occasionally travel are required.
