The appointee will provide support to the Function Hub of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) (HKUST (GZ)).
Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Job duties :
Provide administrative support to the Hub on student admission and staff hiring process;
Render logistics support of the Hub daily operation; tracking and purchasing of office inventories and equipment; processing the purchase and reimbursement in compliance with University regulations;
Office arrangements for new faculty and staff;
Handle financial / personal related documents filing and database maintenance; prepare documents for funding application;
Liaise with internal and external parties in response to inquiries and requests on the Hub; and
Assist in Hub events and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field of Science preferred;
Able to multi-task with good communication skills;
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);
Proficiency in MS Office; and
New graduates may also apply.
Terms of Appointment
This is a Mainland appointment and the appointee will be offered a contract by the HKUST Mainland entity in accordance with the local labor laws and regulations.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract, renewable on mutual agreement.
