We are now looking for a new member to join our Financial Consolidation & Control team at the Head Office, assisting the VP, finance in the development and implementation of a new financial reporting system and other key projects in the Group.

As an Assistant Vice President, Financial Consolidation & Control, we will rely on you to :

  • Supervise the implementation of new financial system(s) at Group level and expand to offices in overseas countries
  • Identify issues with the current workflow processes and provide senior management with recommendations
  • Facilitate preparation of financial statements by subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS
  • Suggest improvement plan for group consolidations processes
  • Assess and initiate change in group finance policies to ensure they are up to date and appropriate to support the business and operations
  • Ensure financial control is maintained and efficiencies are achieved with existing financial system, processes and procedures, including internal control, risk management, corporate governance requirement
  • Manage other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
  • We are looking for someone who has :

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accountancy, Finance or other related disciplines
  • At least 15 years of work experience in accounting field gained from sizable multinational company preferred
  • Experience in group consolidation and financial reporting is highly preferred
  • Experience in system implementation highly preferred
  • Well-versed of IFRS GAAP and local GAAP differences
  • Comfortable in communicating with different levels of people within the Group
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Competent in MS Windows applications and financial reporting systems
