The purpose of this position is to have a senior HR leader with a strategic vision and business partnership mindset to support and meet business expectations.

It is also to build and maintain high professional and efficient HR capabilities at Cartier North Asia.

KEY EXPECTATIONS :

Leading Cartier HR Strategy and fostering a people caring culture

  • As a senior HR leader with strong business sense to Cartier North Asia organization in terms of leading and implementing Cartier people strategy, workforce planning, employer branding, talent acquisition, learning and development, and total rewards.
  • As an HR advisor in business decision and in the process of talent selection, engagement, retention, relations, and other related matters.
  • Support functional heads to nurture Maison values, team spirit and engagement. Coach the line managers, when necessary, to foster a strong people caring culture.
  • A key driver to develop a distinctive Cartier people caring culture with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in mind. Contribute and return to the local society with a strong CSR.
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Define key attributes with business team and select right profile for the Maison.
  • Create an end-to-end TA process with an employer branding in the mindset in terms of the capability to attract, interview, select, grow, and retain the best talents for the Maison.
  • Analyse recruitment practices, turnover, or other market conditions that may impact staffing and make appropriate adjustments.
  • Closely partner with line manager on induction / orientation program to ensure new joiners can quickly adapt to the business and team.
  • Follow up until new joiners smoothly integrate into Cartier.

    Talent Management & Succession Plan

  • Translate and deploy Cartier global talent management strategy and agenda in North Asia to support business continuous growth and organization capability.
  • Lead talent management function and projects from Maison HQ and rolled-out in North Asia markets. Build internal talent pipeline through talent review for future business needs and mapping talent’s career aspiration.
  • Facilitate Career Committee and Succession Planning with North Asia Regional Exco and Maison HQ HR to support talent development and internal mobility.
  • Foster a development-oriented culture and support management to develop and regular check-in individual development plan.
  • Learning and Development

  • Define and implement learning strategies and programs with the Maison L&D team, and evaluate individual and organizational development needs
  • Plan and implement all the necessary skills training programs for the staff population to ensure the staff be equipped with adequate operation skill
  • Monitor the program evaluation, and interact with Richemont L&D team and external vendors and suppliers for the implementation of corporate training or training programs to meet the business needs where appropriate
  • Drive the performance appraisal system and processes to ensure executional excellence to manage employee development and linking it with organizational objectives
  • Build and drive a feedback culture.
  • Total Rewards / C&B

  • Provide insights on total rewards and advice to management team & mangers.
  • Facilitate compensation benchmark and ensure compensation competitiveness by a close collaboration with Total Rewards experts in the region.
  • Review data needed for the Annual Salary Review, and the Annual Performance Appraisal Analysis.
  • Collaborate with payroll team in people operation to ensure a smooth and efficient payroll operations (variable compensation, overtime, expatriates’ compensation, special payments)
  • Work on staff cost, monitor and alert management to any variance between the budgeted and actual salaries and headcount.
  • Directly work with Total Rewards team in Cartier HQ on C&B related topics for expatriates / assignees.
  • Team Management

  • Manage, lead, and develop Cartier HR and L&D Teams in North Asia markets
  • Animate Cartier HR community cross NA markets and articulate and drive vision and roadmap for this Region
  • Set clear roles and responsibilities of direct / indirect members
  • Provide training, coaching & feedback for career development
  • Retain people by motivating team to gain job satisfaction
  • KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

  • At least 15+ years regional HR leadership experience with a strong total rewards / C&B background / HC planning in sizeable multi-national companies.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Previously leading a full function HR team with best practices.
  • Strategic thinking and coherent HR roadmap with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder’s management skill, deal with complexity with a strong influencing skill.
  • Computer literacy and conversant with labour regulations.
  • Knowledge about mainland China and exposure / experience in an international environment is a plus.
  • Good spoken / written English and Chinese is essential.
