It takes a very unique individual who has strength in highly technical accounting skills yet who can develop strategic agendas, projects and priorities for the business on IFRS 17 implementation and adoption.
Reporting to the Project Director, this senior, pivotal role primarily will lead project development and implementation of IFRS 17 & 9 including policy development and financial system advancements across Asia.
Your role will support GHO, RHO and local BUs to ensure optimal adoption of the new accounting standards.
You will have exceptional technical IFRS capabilities in life insurance accounting and have a strong financial reporting focus in your career.
You will have at least 10 years experience from both an external audit firm and most recent experience within the life insurance regulatory realm, preferably across Asia.
To enable smooth delivery of IFRS 17 delivery across the region, you will have strong leadership qualities and be adept at communicating in English (spoken and written) with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, across various cultures.
