Given the increasing importance of Capital Group’s ability to directly strengthen our corporate partnerships, we recently appointed a Global Head of Corporate Access to design, implement, and lead a robust and innovative Corporate Access program.

We are now looking to build out our Corporate Access team and appoint an Asia Regional Head of Corporate Access. Based in Hong Kong, the Asia Regional Head of Corporate Access will report to the Global Head of Corporate Access and be responsible for developing the Corporate Access strategy and executing events across Asia.

  • S / he will be responsible for the coordination and management of access to corporates, experts, and government entities;
  • including on-and off-site meetings, site visits, conference calls, roadshows, investment conferences, and bespoke research trips.

    The Asia Regional Head of Corporate Access will engage with investors, proactively suggest agendas and itineraries, and represent Capital Group with Investor Relations teams.

    This is a hands-on role, which will balance origination and execution, and will require ownership of the day-to-day coordination between our investment professionals and corporates.

    This role will provide critical connectivity between Capital Group’s investors and the market, with a particular emphasis on building relationships with market participants in China and small-

    cap corporates across the region. Key Responsibilities : Partner with the Global Head of Corporate Access and other Regional Corporate Access managers to design, develop and manage a best in class Corporate Access program, which consistently adds value to the investment process.

    Work collaboratively with investment professionals to centralize and execute Asian corporate access activity, including one-

    off meetings, conferences, and roadshows (sector-themed or geographically focused). Strengthen ongoing relationships with investment professionals to stay abreast of their current coverage responsibilities and investment ideas / theses that factor into a corporate access strategy.

    Make pro-active corporate access suggestions based on investment team’s coverage and partner with investment teams to curate differentiated and enriching corporate access interactions.

    Manage an event budget for conferences, investor trips, corporate roadshows, and industry forums. Oversee logistics, including event planning, travel schedules, on-

    site events, and other ad hoc meetings. Act as point of contact with company management teams (CEOs, CFOs, and other C-suite, Investor Relations, etc.

    to request and secure meetings for our investment professionals, representing Capital Group in an appropriate and compelling manner, and ensuring a positive user experience.

    Originate new relationships with companies (public and private) where Capital Group does not have a legacy of direct dialogue.

    Leverage technology solutions to document and enhance the management of the corporate access process. Develop a robust tracking mechanism, in partnership with internal compliance, to ensure all corporate access data is available for compliance purposes.

    Develop and evolve mechanisms for measuring output and analyzing the overall effectiveness of Corporate Access programs and activities.

    Work closely with global counterparts in other geographical locations to provide corporate access updates and opportunities.

    Act as a player-coach to ensure best-in-class execution while providing leadership, training and daily management of the Asian regional Corporate Access team.

    Partner closely with functional partners within the organization, including Compliance, Meetings & Events, Research Services and Technology to ensure Corporate Access program is fully integrated into the broader Capital Group business.

  • Provide on-the-ground coverage for the region, which will entail significant travel across Asia. Qualifications : Minimum of 10 years’ experience within financial services;
  • sell-side corporate access or investor relations experience is desirable Direct experience covering the Chinese market and / or Asian small-
