Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation.

In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.


  • To take active responsibility for all financial & procurement procedures in conjunction with all project manager, contractors and project stakeholders.
  • To suggest trade contractors, systems and manufacturers for team appraisal.
  • To take a lead role in the valuation process.
  • Be aware of element costings and costs per square meter
  • Develop and prepare the initial project budget, procurement process and agree detailed cost plan with project stakeholders.
  • Confirm project insurance arrangements.
  • Assist with value engineering exercises.
  • Prepare & monitor bid package tender schedule and advise on selection of Works Contractors.
  • Monitor the information flow both to and from project team to ensure that work undertaken is fully authorised at all times.
  • Manage the change process in conjunction with the extended team.
  • Prepare cash flow projection plan and payment documentation for subcontractors and suppliers for approval by line manager
  • Prepare 'rolling' final account throughout project and agree at PC (with approval of line manager)
  • Close out financial account and retention releases (with approval of line manager)
  • Prepare Cost / Value Reconciliation (CVR) with project team, create regular budget and price updates, update computerised cost control system and prepare the monthly cost and progress report for Interior directors responsible incl Internal Value & Cash Flow forecasts.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in procurement operations related banking operations
  • In-depth procurement operations experience and knowledge on trade related regulations and practices is an advantage
  • Good spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin and PC skills.
  • Strong sense of risk and fraud control.
