Marketing Executive (Japanese speaking)

  • Lead the project timeline for launching the translated website in Japanese, including coordination with translation agency, internal cross-department coordination and external coordination for vendors.
  • Maintain and provide weekly updates on progress towards localised site launch and potential roadblocks.
  • Assist in creating the HBX Japan website launching strategy to increase awareness and usage of the HBX Japan audience.
  • And, develop alignment with the Hypebeast Japan editorial team, so that cross-promotion channels are established.

  • Assist in communication with Japan-based vendors to facilitate HQ team to establish new infrastructure to service Japanese markets including logistics, payment gateway, new marketing solutions and affiliate partners.
  • Post-Launch-

  • Maintain HBX Japan website contents including updating homepage banner, website translations, content marketing channels (newsletter) and communication with Hypebeast Japan team on our latest campaigns / releases.
  • Work with our Digital Marketing team on establishing new affiliate partners for promoting our HBX Japan website on driving awareness and conversions.
  • Manage the set up of HBX Japan content channels including HBXJP Line channel to promote our latest releases and Japan-related news.
  • Maintain and provide weekly updates on HBX Japan website sales and traffic performance to management and cross-departments.
  • Assist in driving new developments for the HBX Japan website on providing further localised experiences for our Japan customers and more ways of reaching local audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with our Special Projects team to ideate on new brands and exclusive projects to increase HBX Japan awareness in local market.
  • Requirements :

  • 2+ years of solid work experience in marketing, communications, brand building responsibilities or other relevant disciplines.
  • Sound understanding of digital marketing, fashion e-commerce markets; experience in Japanese fashion e-commerce landscape would be a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese. High proficiency in business Japanese, preferably Native Japanese Speaker or JLPT N2 or above.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Strong project planning and organizational skills; attention to detail a must.
  • Independent worker that is able to take initiatives with minimal supervision.
