The Retail Design Manager will act as a relay of the global team, in proximity to the business units, to ensure Permanent Merchandising Unit (PMU) & Large and Medium activations projects are designed according to business needs and coherent with our global toolkits and guidelines.
Essential Job Functions :
Design all personalized permanent merchandising projects according to global guidelines
Design all large & medium activation spaces according to global toolkits & business needs
All projects should be designed with close collaboration of local Marketing Team
Delivers creative designs to business with coherence to brands guidelines :
Space concept development (hand sketches to SketchUp)
Defining all assets & details
Deliver retailer presentations Team work with the responsible Project & Procurement Manager to ensure perfect execution
Qualifications / Requirements :
Education : BA degree in interior design or related applied art Experience :
Comfortable to express ideas quickly with freehand sketches
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent English spoken and written
Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferably gained with a mix of creative and operational positions.
Multiple markets / regional exposure.
Proven experience at designing and developing retail furniture and displays
Sensitivity to the applied arts is preferred. (Exhibition, interior design, visual merchandising, graphic design, etc.)
Technical skills : Sketchup pro, Autocad, Adobe creative suite and Microsoft office Languages : English in a business environment.
Speaking of the local languages would be an asset
