Support application development, product development and provide technical service to customers and account managers across Asia Pacific.
The ADTS team works closely with customers, account managers and marketing managers to create value for LYB and LYB supply sources, by assisting customers with the use of LYB and LYB supply sourced polyolefins.
ADTS coordinates the introduction of new products and provides technical service to customers to support their use in a wide variety of rigid and flexible applications.
The ADTS teams supports annual sales of 1 million tons spanning from NEA to SEA.
Roles & Responsibilities
University or College Degree in Chemical Engineering , Polymer Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience :
Industrial experience in sales or technical services, or new business development in Plastics Industry; years of actual industrial experience typically 5-10 years of experience depends on job grade.
English and Mandarin are the main languages must have.

Application and Process Knowledge : Able to comprehend significance of knowledges of major plastics application and processing technology.
Should have developed at least one expertise in below areas : Pipe / Specialty Sheets / Profile, Flexible packaging (BOPP, CPP, Blown film etc), or Rigid Packaging (injection , blow molding, thermoforming), Medical and Healthcare Packaging, Wire & Cable, Foam etc.
Able to conduct projects with measures of application performance, test methods of related industries and countries, and conversion processes from material to end use.
LYB Product Knowledge : Able to precisely summarize and communicate the performances of LYB products under the abovesaid specific process / applications, the benefits in use of difference technologies and processes.
Safety and Product Stewardship : Awareness in Product Safety, Food contact approvals. Able to understand Product Risks Management issues in daily activities, such as product development (Global Innovation Gateway Process), complaint handling, and customer communications.
Project Management - Planning and execution of project management for achieving objectives of the organization in particular, technical approvals and commercializations of grades and applications at customers.
Negotiating Able to negotiate in technical evaluations in tough situations. Have the attitude in settling differences. Have capabilities in reaching consensus without damaging relationships.
Has a good sense of timing.
Presentation and Communication Skills - Able to summarize technical situations in a precise and concise way, communicating the key messages and engages the audience.
