Our client, a strong growing buying office, is looking for an outstanding candidate to join their team as a Senior Merchandiser.
Job Responsibilities :
Responsible for the full cycle of merchandising of products, such as but not limited to : gardening tools and car audio products, etc
Ensure production requirements, sample checking and shipment orders are communicated clearly
Negotiate on pricing issues with external parties such as suppliers, vendors and forwarders for a smooth merchandise logistic
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as design team for the process of product development
Track ordering activities to meet quantity, quality, product specifications and delivery requirements
Arrange sample delivery for quality inspection before the initiation of mass production
Maintain a sound relationship with existing and potential key accounts for a smooth workflow
Keep account entries
Issue related documents, e.g. RFQ, P / O and invoices, etc.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor degree or higher diploma in any related disciplines
A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the field of merchandising, purchasing, buying and procurement is required
Knowledge within companies such as manufacturing, trading and buying offices are preferred
Experience in product categories such as speakers, car audio, gardening tools, etc.
Exposure to international markets is preferred
Occasional travelling is required
Fluency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
