Who we're looking for
We are looking for an energetic Data Product Developer to join our team.
What you will be doing
Ability to organise and perform desktop research to understand topics in demographics, psychographics, digital and real world footprint, as well as spending behaviors that would be used in our data product.
Ability to understand market needs, either by the means of quantitative surveys or qualitative user interviews when combined with product sales figures, to create product requirements based on the market needs.
Ability to work with data on a spreadsheet, and work with more of them outside of spreadsheet programmatically in the language of your choice.
Ability to eloquently explain decisions being made in the process of designing and creating our data product.
Ability to organize and visualize data for internal evaluation, product marketing and partners enablement.
Ability to code and create data products from enormous amounts of data with various attributes based on product requirements is surely welcomed, but we do have data engineers supporting you on that.
Who you are
You are comfortable with showing your vulnerability at work, fail fast to learn and recover from failure and come back stronger.
You are naturally curious about world trends, obvious and subtle differences between populations amongst cultures, ethnicities, and demographic groups.
You are not intimidated by diving into a vast sea of data related to people with various interests and behaviors.
You are motivated by daunting challenges and constant changes in life, looking to break the status quo for continuous improvement in both yourself and our products.
You are audacious in testing the market with bold assumptions for learning and product improvement, at the same time understanding the importance of explaining the assumptions are essential to market adoption.
You know the importance of taking the balance in between idealism and pragmatism, such that you are willing to communicate and align with the team and strive towards the shared goal.
