Main Responsibilities :
This role is part of the Permanent Control Unit (PCU), within the Natixis Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Compliance team.
You will help optimize the surveillance framework and be responsible for the following :
Support the implementation of an E-com monitoring system and related processes as well as supporting the definition and setup of a Target Operating Model
Analyze alerts generated from Natixis e-com and market surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity (Market Abuse or Conduct violations)
Help to optimize operational processes linked to alert generation, analysis, escalation and decisioning of surveillance alerts
Participate in the development of models, lexicons (key-words) and detection parameter creation used to identify suspicions activity
Enhance key aspects of the surveillance program including key-word refinement, governance, data analytics and management information
Help to prepare the management reporting dashboards and key performance indicator presentations; present information to Head Office and Regional Compliance Management
Master the system configuration options in order to suggest changes to system parameters in order to enhance the detection capabilities of the system and obtain more pertinent alerts
Configure and test the system surveillance parameters with Head Office compliance colleagues
Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience
Required Skills :
Fluent English,(written, spoken) , other language skills are helpful
Good financial markets experience or Financial Markets Surveillance within a broad range of markets and wholesale banking products.
Fixed Income & Currency (FIC), Foreign Exchange (FX), Benchmarks, Debt Capital Markets
Excellent understanding of compliance risk frameworks and testing programs
Strong data analytics skills,
Prior experience working in financial markets, compliance, sales / trading, risk, control
Ability to analyze, summarize and succinctly communicate assessments and key takeaways
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders
