The Swap Middle Office team provides operational support for both Equities and Fixed Income swap activity, working with the business, technology and external clients to provide a positive experience.
The successful candidate will join an external client facing team who are primarily responsible for providing superior client service and to ensure all operational controls are followed.
The successful candidate will be required to partner with our clients, as well as with our internal teams; Front Office, Product Development, Product Control, Client Service, Sales, Corporate Actions, and Technology.

Job Description
Manage Middle Office teams responsible for end to end support on Synthetics & Cash Prime
First point of contact for escalations from external clients on all operational issues including : valuations, collateral, settlements, documentation, audit, technology, account set up and legal documentation, client reporting
First point of contact for Senior Front Office Trading and Sales executives on Swap trade bookings / issue resolution
Define and execute agenda for external clients, including best practice reviews, KPIs, surveys, and STP rates
Attend quarterly review meetings with external clients
Coordinate with global partners in middle office and client service to help drive process improvements, system changes and improve / maintain our client relationships
Communication of open issues to our clients and internal partners in a clear and concise manner, ensuring a full understanding of the issue
Manage client queries, ensuring they are investigated and resolved in a timely fashion
Manage trade life cycle : allocations, settlements, corporate actions, affirmations & regulatory reporting
Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the relevant partners to deliver to the business
Apply MIS and trend analysis to identify the root cause and partner with internal teams to resolve the issue
Work closely with external clients, settlement teams and third party institutions to settle client trades
Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate trade capture
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in financial industry with relevant experience in Equities / Synthetic Prime Middle Office or Trade Support
Strong knowledge of Synthetic Prime, Equities, Bonds, and Swap products; and their relevant process flows is a necessity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with marketers, external clients, traders and other support teams
Must be a self-starter with the motivation, demonstration of initiative, and ownership mentality to think outside of the box as necessary
Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership and responsibility
Skillset to properly escalate issues to management, controls team and front office sales and trading teams.

Strong communication skills required for quarterly review meetings with clients

Exceptional attention to detail
Good understanding of derivatives regulatory knowledge is an advantage
Must have strong PC skills with particular emphasis on Microsoft excel, formula construction, and excel reconciliation solutions
