We are currently seeking a highcaliber professional to join our team as CategoryManager Market Data .
Support to execute IT sourcing projects allocated to the country by the Sourcing Execution Manager to deliver defined country annual savings targets.
These projects will deliver competitive advantage for the HSBC business through cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management and innovation
The projects will be delivered globally or locally in accordance with the Category and Commodity plans and will leverage the full range of supply and demand-
side levers. Strong sourcing knowledge will be applied in the execution of these plans across all category areas whilst ensuring the risks associated with the purchase of goods and services are mitigated commercially, contractually and operationally
The role will develop influential in-country relationships and will lead senior business partners in their application of their operational accountability for supplier relationships.
It is expected that post contract value opportunities will be identified and delivered through working with business supplier managers and the local supply base ensuring these opportunities are aligned with Category Plans at all times
The role will have to work across a variety of ITcategories and is essential to demonstrate a broad range of category knowledgeand be able to work dynamically and flexibly with a group of SMEs
Proven ability in working across multi disciplinary and multi cultural diverse work environments
Strong analytical background and proven ability in analytical rigour, including being able to contextualise data into business activities and conclusions.
Proven ability in successfully designing and implementing large scale, complex global Supply Chain initiatives
Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group
High level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex transformational initiatives
Outstanding organizational, time management and planning skills in order to cope with multiple large scale responsibilities
Evidence of self development across a number of disciplines
Experience of working in Procurement is preferred, ideally within a large, global, blue chip organisation
