Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager will work to increase the reach and impact of QIMA’s profile and visibility around the world.

They will do this by delivering high-value, influential marketing, communications and PR, helping support the development of new business and brand recognition.

They will work closely with the Marketing Communications Director and wider global marketing team to plan, develop and execute a cohesive marketing communications strategy across a range of channels and markets, targeting QIMA’s key audiences.

The Job

Your main responsibilities will be to :

  • website content, emails, brochures, thought leadership content, videos and imagery- that will maximise QIMA’s messaging and business objectives;
  • Develop and manage, in conjunction with the Marketing Communications Director and other marketing colleagues, an integrated digital marketing plan to support QIMA’s English-language social media strategy and thought leadership;
  • Run effective marketing campaigns which deliver QIMA’s key messages, USPs and brand collateral to the target our local and global memberships;
  • Position QIMA as an authority within our specific product areas, and ensure our brand meets the expectations of our clients, stakeholders and industry partners;
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to create and manage cross-organisational, integrated marketing materials;
  • Support QIMA’s internal communication strategy, including oversight of our newsletters and intranet.
  • The Candidate

    In order to succeed in this role, you must be :

  • Educated to degree level in English, media studies, marketing, communications studies, journalism or an equivalent specialism;
  • A native English Speaker. Additional language abilities such as Cantonese, Mandarin or French is beneficial but not required;
  • Proven success in writing professional marketing copy (both off and online), with the ability to produce compelling and optimised copy while maintaining brand messaging;
  • Excellent communication skills and a flair for attention to detail, grammar and turning complex ideas into digestible content;
  • Strong analytical abilities, including the drive to interpret information, news, data and research quickly;
  • Strong B2B marketing experience with a proven ability to manage multi-disciplined, omnichannel campaigns;
  • A self-starter who can work independently and / or as part of a team as the role requires;
  • Have the ability to be self-directed, multi-task orientated and not afraid to occasionally work under pressure to produce high quality results.
