The Department

The Customer and International Business Development Division (C&I) is responsible for providing quality wagering experience to local and overseas customers of The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

It operates 88 Race Meetings a year, 33 Simulcasts days, a thrice-weekly Mark 6 Draw, 7X24 Digital Channels, 7X24 Football Betting Services on over 11,000 different leagues per year.

The ultimate aim is to provide an impressive total customer experience leading to sustainable turnover growth in a responsible manner.

The Customer Digital Experience Department is responsible for leading and managing development projects of digital wagering experience and customer service digital transformation.

Besides project management, its scope includes content requirement definition, user-interface and user experience design, as well as the look and feel based on customer insights and product requirements.

You will :

  • Support Customer Digital Experience Development Manager in delivering Funds Transfer development projects across the Club’s range of digital channels
  • Gather and transform business requirements, customer feedbacks and / or market research outcomes into project proposal using data analysis, user journey and various evaluation tools
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare business agreements and / or contracts
  • Assist product manager and product owner to develop features and user stories as well as manage project issues and risks
  • Participate in project planning, backlog refinement and review meetings
  • Perform user acceptance tests and live configuration test
  • Work closely with IT and other departments during solutions development, testing, implementation and product launch phases
  • You should have :

  • A bachelor degree or above in Business, Digital Product Design, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of proven working experience in FinTech Solution / Project Management with understanding of FinTech and digital trend
  • Solid working experience within an agile team on digital products implementation; certified product owner or scrum master is a plus
  • Strong analytical, logical, problem solving skills, business acumens with customer centricity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders. Easily understand people idea and turn it into action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English and Chinese)
  • Excellent working attitude, self-motivated and being a team player
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Customer Digital Experience Development Officer.)

    Terms of Employment

    The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.

    Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
